About Woodingdean Players
We are a community group based in Woodingdean, a village about 3 miles east of Central Brighton.
We put on our home grown pantomimes every other Christmas - the next one will be December 2026. We will release details nearer the time and tickets will be on sale at the beginning of November.
We aim to keep ticket costs as low as we can to ensure that everyone who wants to come can - depending on availability of course.
The shows are performed at the Scout Hut, on Old Parish Lane in Woodingdean.

Raising Funds for Local Charities
Each year we raise money for local charities through the raffles we run at every show. We have traditionally donated to the Martlets Hospice in Hove and the Woodingdean Food Hub
Ticket Sales
Tickets usually go on sale about 8 weeks before the performance dates. Online ticket sales, subject to a booking fee, will be available and you can usually by tickets in person from the Downs Baptist Fruit and Veg shop on Warren Way (to be confirmed). All tickets prices are the same so no concessions or children's prices though we do our best to keep these to a minimum. We expect the ticket price for the 2026 show to be around £7.50 per ticket.
We are able to keep these costs low thanks to the 19th Brighton Scout group who have worked with us to try and keep our venue hire costs as low as possible.
